He's still looking at the next corner even when he's on the ground!!Today marks a sad day! Sam Hill almost won the race. He was 5secs up at the split but pushed too hard and crashed nearly at the finish line. Dissapointed!!!

Sam hits the ski jump at 2:49 and Gee Atherton (the new World DH Champion) hits it at 2:55. Gee hits the spot Sam crashed at 3:00 while Sam isn't even back on his bike at that point . . . . wow!
These guys are so fast through the woods it is just unreal. I just watched Gee Atherton's run again and there were so many moments where it all could have been done. I wish the general public could understand what these guys are doing. The sport would be gigantic. The speed these guys process the course in front of them is just nuts...
